Vieste
A tangle of narrow streets, stairways and small squares with postcard views. Vieste's historic center is a beauty that bewitches with its charm:the white little houses, the narrow alleys, the blue that stands out in contrast to the dominantsnow-white, the vivid red, orange and pink hues of the sunset overlooking the sea.
Vieste Vecchia, the town's historic center, stands on a rocky spur above the sea that ends at Punta San Francesco.
North of the old town, at the foot of the cliff, is the beach of Marina Piccola, then the Punta Santa Croce peninsula, the harbor and the sandy beach of San Lorenzo.
To the south, however, is the beautiful golden beach of Scialara with the unmistakable rock monolith known as Pizzomunno. One of the most sought-after and frequented in the entire Gargano, for its charm, the many services provided and its proximity to the center.
Pizzomunno beach is named after the famous monolith "Pizzomunno," which legend has it boy turned to stone by mermaids jealous of his love for his beloved.

Peschici
Perched atop a promontory overlooking the Adriatic Sea on one of Italy's most beautiful bays, Peschici is one of the most beloved and well-known seaside resorts.
Here are enshrined architectural and historical wonders such as the Abbey of Santa Maria di Càlena, the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Loreto or like the pretty whitewashed houses that slope down to the sea .
The Norman Castle dominates the village: a medieval fortress that separates the old and new areas. It stands on the end of a cliff, and from the top of its walls a magnificent panorama of the entire bay can be admired.
Peschici is also known for its numerous trabucchi, ancient fishing tools, spread all along its coast. They are protected by the Gargano National Park and some have come back to life thanks to the enhancement of a number of organizations, individuals and associations that wanted to safeguard this aspect of Gargano tradition.
Vico del Gargano
A mountain village that overlooks the sea. Among the Gargano's most beautiful villages is also a historic hamlet on the edge of the Umbra Forest. An enchanted village whose tiny historic center boasts more than a thousand years of life, an authentic place outside the usual patterns and itineraries: Vico del Gargano.
Worth a visit are the churches of great historical and cultural interest, the Castle of Vico del Gargano, Palazzo della Bella and the characteristic Vicolo del Bacio: a narrow street 50 centimeters wide and less than 30 meters long, a meeting place for couples in love who, because of the small space available, are inclined to "brush up against each other."
At the base of Vico del Gargano are the beautiful beaches of Calenella and San Menaio.

Monte Sant'Angelo
A breathtaking view of the Gulf of Manfredonia, medieval atmosphere and ancient religious traditions. Monte Sant'angelo lies within the Gargano National Park, perched on a hill overlooking the valleys below. Its Sanctuary of St. Michael is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been a pilgrimage destination since the Crusades.
Among the Gargano villages Monte Sant'Angelo is the only one that can boast two UNESCO sites. The Sanctuary precisely and the ancient beech forests of the Umbra Forest.
Monte Sant'Angelo deserves to be visited both for its beauty and for its proximity to the lakes of Lesina and Varano and to the Umbra Forest, where it is possible to take relaxing walks in the green.
Lesina
Among the Gargano villages that still few have visited is certainly Lesina with its namesake lake. A lake that looks like sea but, more properly can be called a lagoon, separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land, the Bosco Isola. Lake and sea are joined by two artificial canals, Acquarotta and Schiapparo, which allow salt water to mix with fresh water creating the brackish water so important for the development of fishing in this area.
Lesina's historic center is small but delightful: not infrequently you may come across a fisherman preparing nets or the lady kneading orecchiette pasta. Strolling through the alleys, one arrives at the Cathedral of the Santissima Annunziata facing the interior of the territory and not the lake. At one time, in fact, the lake was considered unhealthy and the relationship of the inhabitants with this charming body of water, was one of love and hate.
Rhodes Gargano
The town of Rodi Garganico is one of Apulia's Blue Flags for 2022, a small gem in the center of a striking 12-km-long sandy shoreline. The eastern beach is a long tongue of sand particularly sheltered from the winds: at 4 km long, it stretches all the way to San Menaio beach.
The west beach is home to well-known lidos such as Baia Santa Barbara and Lido del Sole among the most popular in all of Puglia with top-notch accommodations, splendid villas, stores and many places of leisure and entertainment.
