According to Carmela Curci, President of the Putignano Carnival Foundation, the participation of Amadeus represents a great honor for the entire community of Putignano and for Carnival lovers. The choice of Amadeus, one of the most beloved faces of Italian television, testifies to the ever-growing relevance and importance of this centuries-old event, which has been combining art, culture, and community spirit for as many as 630 years.
This year, the Putignano Carnival will have the pleasure of welcoming Amadeus and Giovanna Civitillo for the first time. The latter, a showgirl and presenter, will have the opportunity to experience Carnival firsthand after telling viewers about it on "It's Always Noon" on Rai1 last year.

The highlight of the event: the "CLOSING PARTY"
The highlight of the event will take place on February 17 with the grandiose "CLOSING PARTY." Events will kick off at 3 p.m., anticipating another spectacular parade scheduled for 7 p.m. Once again, Radio Carro will be featured with "The Wheel of Time," followed by the awards ceremony at 9:30 pm. To end the evening on a high note, an unmissable live DJ Set by Albertino and Fargetta on the Amaro Mediterraneo Stage.
Competing floats and masked groups
Among the highlights of the Putignano Carnival will be the competing floats and character masks, which add further charm and creativity to the event.
There will be no shortage of masked groups in competition, each with its own unique and engaging artistic proposal. Prominent among them are "Maskreamoci" from ASD Kreative and "I have a dream" from I.C. De Gasperi. In addition, as special guests, masked groups from Patras and the delegation of the Carnival of Fano will attend the Putignano Carnival, further enriching the cultural and artistic experience offered by the event.
