This is affirmed by the latest monitoring activity of Snpa, the National System for Environmental Protection(the network that coordinates the various regional environmental agencies in the country, including Arpa Puglia), which has conducted microbiological analyses over the past four years.Specifically, there are 5,090 kilometers of marine stretches, or 95.6 percent of the monitored coastline, considered to be of "excellent" quality, the highest class provided by the European classification system. There are a total of 153 kilometers of coastline with a "good" classification, while 32 kilometers of marine stretches are in the "sufficient" quality class and only 44 kilometers in the "poor" class, just 0.8 percent of the monitored coastline. What is the cleanest sea in Italy?Specifically, the most virtuous region is Puglia, which is confirmed first in Italy, for the fourth consecutive year, for bathing water quality: in this region 99.7 percent of the kilometers of coast monitored are excellent. Next in the ranking is Sardinia, "excellent" in 98.4 percent of its coastline and, finally, Tuscany, with 98.2 percent. The same discourse, reports the National System for Environmental Protection, emerges by going to look at the quality of bathing water in lakes and rivers: out of the 662 km over which monitoring takes place, 630 km are washed by water of excellent quality, or 95.2 percent of the total monitored. 20 km are in good quality (3.1%), 6 km in sufficient quality (0.9%), and 1 km in poor quality (0.2%).Where is the cleanest sea in Apulia? In the most recent monitoring activities carried out by ARPA, the non-"excellent" points detected where it is still possible to swim are only five: "good" is the point in Molfetta 500 meters south of the city sewer(province of Bari), and that of the free beach of Ginosa Marina near the river(province of Taranto), while "sufficient" are the points analyzed in the San Nicandro Garganico area, at the mouth of the Lauro River(province of Foggia).Where is the most beautiful sea in Apulia? The most beautiful beaches in Puglia Baia dei Turchi, Otranto Punta Prosciutto, Porto Cesareo Porto Selvaggio, Nardò San Pietro in Bevagna, Manduria Torre dell'Orso, Melendugno Cave of Poetry, Roca Vecchia Porto Badisco, Otranto Cala dell'Acquaviva, MarittimaWhere to find crystal clear sea in Apulia?Overlooking the Ionian Sea in the province of Lecce, Marina di Pescoluse is the resort known as the Maldives of Salento for its fine sand and crystal clear water.
