- Le avventure dei Trullalleri, protagonisti di Trulli Tales
The adventures of the Trullalleri, protagonists of Trulli Tales.
They move swiftly among the beautiful trulli of Alberobello, guided by the skilled hands and magical talents of Miss Frisella. They are the Trullalleri, protagonists of "Trulli Tales. The Adventures of the Trullalleri," a new cartoon series set in Puglia. The story unfolds in 52 11-minute episodes, written by Lecce sisters Maria Elena and Fiorella Congedo, inspired by an old picture book from the Congedo publishing house.
In Trullolandia, which stands at the foot of a centuries-old olive grove, baker Miss Frisella guards Nonnatrulla's talking book and teaches magical Apulian (and other) recipes in the cooking school where she has four little apprentices. The aim is to make them understand that all food is good, especially wholesome foods such as legumes, fruits and vegetables, and that by cooking, one cares for others, just as happens in the renowned Apulian kitchens that have conquered palates around the world.
And so, after conquering filmmakers and directors, screenwriters and set designers from around the world, Puglia is also coming to cartoon boards. The series will be aired in Europe, Africa and the Middle East starting Dec. 11, on Disney Junior, Sky's channel 611, and, in the spring, also on Rai Yo Yo.
