On April 21, Muro Leccese hosts its fourth edition of the Race in the "Land of the Messapi." The race, which starts from the SS Crocefisso Park at 09:15 a.m., offers a completely flat and paved route, closed to traffic, about 9 km long. For those who prefer a less competitive challenge, there is also a sports walk of about 5 km. Along the route, refreshment points are provided to ensure participants' energy.
Taranto: StraTaranto, a National Icon.
On April 21, Taranto becomes the stage for the 46th edition of StraTaranto. With a 21.097-kilometer route for competitive runners and a non-competitive 8.5-kilometer route open to all, this race offers the perfect opportunity to explore the city while running along its streets. The start is from the Via D'Aquino Hotel Plaza at 9:00 a.m., with the finish line in Piazza Maria Immacolata.
Crispiano: The Grand Prix Stage on the Roads of the Ionian Sea.
On April 25, Crispiano hosts the first edition of Run Crispiano, part of the Gran Prix of running on the roads of the Ionian Sea. The race, about 10.2 km long, is open to all registered athletes and offers an exciting route through the city's provincial roads. Leverano: Le Ore del Parco Mennula
On April 25, Leverano hosts its annual race, the 6 or 8 Hours of Mennula Park. With an urban, paved circuit about 1.2 km long, participants can choose between a six- or eight-hour race, depending on their endurance.
