In Otranto, hidden in the Mediterranean maquis a few meters from the cove of Toraiello, in the Santo Stefano area, there is a natural swimming pool.
Discovering it a few years ago, thanks to images captured by the camera of his drone, was videomaker Roberto Leone, with the collaboration of his colleague Marco Spedicato.
The natural pool, technically a dolina, that is, a closed basin that may have been generated by the collapse of a cave, is located a short distance from Baia dei Turchi, a well-known seaside resort in Salento, Apulia, popular with Italian and foreign tourists. The site is surrounded by a stone arch that allows visitors to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea.
