BARBARHOUSE AMONG GROWTH CHAMPIONS

BARBARHOUSE TRA I CAMPIONI DELLA CRESCITA

So says the German Institute Itqf in collaboration with A&F Affari e Finanza, the thematic insert of Repubblica

New and flattering recognition sees Barbarhouse srl of Casarano among the "Champions of Growth," a survey by the German Institute ITQF in its fourth edition, a prestigious project created in partnership with La Repubblica Affari&Finanza. The special issue on which the survey was published came out on newsstands on Nov. 1 with the ranking of the 600 Italian companies that show multiplied revenues, boom of hires and therefore drive the development of the national economy.

Rigorous, objective and scientific were the selection and evaluation criteria to identify what theGerman Institute for Quality and Finance calls "The Champions of Growth."

Barbarhouse, the parent company of the registered luxury tourist rental brand "Perle di Puglia," ranks 512 out of more than 25 thousand Italian companies with a high growth rate, with an average annual growth of 13.15 percent and a turnover that increased from 1,402 in 2017 to 2,032 in 2020 (thousands of euros). An extraordinary result.

The survey photographs the list of companies-drivers of the recovery based on the average annual growth generated in the three-year period 2017-2020. These are six hundred companies, with an aggregate turnover of 14.7 billion euros in 2020, up 50 percent from 2017.

As stated in Repubblica's A&F special, "the analysis recognizes the excellences of the Italian economy that despite a very difficult macroeconomic framework due to the health emergency record a remarkable development. This is the dynamic Italy that, through new technologies, innovations and exports often at a global level, creates jobs and distributes welfare and wealth in the territory."

This is the premise of Christian Bieker, director of Itqf, Europe's leading independent quality survey body. The long list included more than 25 thousand high-growth businesses and was compiled through research in publicly available databases such as Chambers of Commerce, online business data, tender analysis and communication portals. In total, these research sources survey about 8 million Italian businesses.

"The pride is great for us," commented Antonio Barbara, Barbarhouse's administrator and one of the company's founding partners, "both for the steady growth results we achieve thanks to our experience gained in the field, and for the desire to improve ourselves and improve the quality of the services we offer, values that have always been our guiding light. Considering that more than half of the companies on this prestigious long list are concentrated in the regions of the center-north," continued Ms. Barbara, "we are even more proud of the fact that we were born, grew up and stayed here in Casarano, in the heart of South Salento, also contributing to the growth of the economic and social fabric of our territory."

In the lengthy article presenting the Champions of Growth ranking, published in La Repubblica Affari & Finanza by journalist Vito de Ceglia, it was explained that to be part of the top 600 companies, several criteria had to be met: having reached a minimum turnover of 100,000 euros in 2017 and 1.2 million euros in 2020; being an independent company with its registered office in Italy that has grown organically; and not having committed serious violations (art.80 of Legislative Decree 50/2016).
